Rev. Dr Alison Mary Peden, MA, DPhil, MTh (2003- 2014)
In 1997, the General Synod of the Scottish Episcopal Church voted to ordain women to the priesthood. This enabled Dr Alison Mary Peden, then an honorary lecturer at Glasgow University and visiting lecturer at Stirling University, to fulfil a long-cherished dream. Having trained with the Theological Institute of the Scottish Episcopal Church, leading to award of a Master's Degree in Theology by the University of Edinburgh, she was ordained as a Deacon in 2002 and became Curate at St John the Baptist, Perth. Ordained a Priest in 2003, she succeeded Rev. Jarman as Rector of Holy Trinity
In 2014 Alison became Director Of Ordinands for the Diocese and became Incumbant of St. Medocs in Doune.
