ROBBIE NEWTON

Hi there.  My name is Robbie, and I have been a Youth Worker in and around the Episcopalian Church for around 6 years now. I am presently studying at the Universty of Studying, doing a degree in Sociology and Criminology, a very riveting and eye-opening subject.  My youth interests lie primarily in keeping young people interested in church and church related activities.  This can include, for example, letting them express their own thoughts and opinions, and then suggesting what the Bible says on the matter. I fully believe that that is a sound way to teach the Bible and The Word to young people.  In addition to the above, I have also been a Scripture Union Volunteer for three years, and have helped out at a few camps, and I am active within the SU Forth Valley area.  I am a trained First Aider, and have had a number of training sessions on various Christian Youth Work areas.  In terms of Holy Trinity work, I am overseeing the formation and running of the Youth Fellowship and this is primarily to keep tweens and teenagers interested in church. So far, they have expressed a positive view of it, and feel that they can bring friends along - which can only be beneficial in terms of growth.

RACHAEL LIVINGSTON

Hi, I’m Rachael Livingston and I’ve been helping out with the kids activities at Holy Trinity since my eldest son was born and he’s now 15! I love learning more about God with the children and it’s great fun too!  Singing, dancing, music, drama and craft I enjoy it all. My favourite times of the year are Christmas ( I love carols, Christingle and the midnight service) and Pentecost (as my favourite hymns and songs are about the Holy Spirit). I love our little group, because we know each other so well,  but it would be lovely to have some new kids come along and join us.

SARAH SHAW

I'm Sarah Shaw and I have been working with the children's group for about 10 years; both my children are still involved with the group. I find teaching and leading worship with the children is really stimulating, they ask the most challenging questions and are so enthusiastic. We are hoping to involve some of the children with our church Music Group to help lead worship in the church at our All Age services.
