Weddings at Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity is an ideal venue for your wedding. It's very spacious and has many beautiful features which make it a wonderful place in which to consecrate your marriage.

As a first step, please contact the Rector. She'll advise on what needs to be decided and arranged, such as music, flowers, organist and other practical matters. She'll also agree a date with you. It's wise to arrange this date with her before booking hotel, cars, stationery, etc.

The doctrine of the Scottish Episcopal Church is that 'Marriage is a physical, spiritual and mystical union of o­ne man and o­ne woman created by their mutual consent of heart, mind and will thereto, and is a holy and lifelong estate instituted of God.' In most circumstances, the Rector can, with the permission of the Bishop, marry people who have been divorced.
